A deep dark crimson with a purple-red hue. Rich aromas of dark berry fruits and dark plum, a hint of violet with some complexing savoury notes from the period of oak maturation. This is a well-flavoured and well-structured wine; its distinctively rich, blackberry and dark plum fruit flavours are beautifully balanced by the well-integrated oak and the drying tannins. The depth of vibrant fruit means it can be enjoyed young while also having the structure to reward further cellaring.
