On the nose, discover notes of dried apple chips, floral herbs, fresh mint, candied orange, and a hint of creamy coffee.
The palate reveals flavors reminiscent of luxurious chocolates adorned with delicate flakes of sea salt, accompanied by pound cake topped with demerara sugar and cinnamon. A citrusy zest emerges on the mid-palate.
The finish is warmly spiced with cinnamon and ginger, leaving a lingering, satisfying impression.
Formerly available exclusively in their travel retail selection, Oban's Little Bay has now earned a place in the core range as a 70cl bottling. Master Blenders Dr. Matthew Crow and Dr. Craig Wilson meticulously select whisky aged in refill American oak hogsheads, European oak Sherry casks, and refill casks with new ends for this expression. The resulting single malt whisky is then allowed to marry in small oak casks, ensuring a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
