The wine is a light red with sappy rhubarb and dark cherry notes on the nose, The palate is varietal with a density of dark cherry fruit that is interjected by spice and earth with a continuation of the savoury sappier tones seen on the nose. The finish shows the alcohol and does distract from the more subtle characteristics of the wine.
