Domaine Cornu Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge
Domaine Cornu Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge
Crafted solely from Pinot Noir grapes, this wine originates from vines aged between 20 and 25 years old. Cultivated in clay and limestone soils within the village of Magny-les-Villers, the vineyard encompasses five distinct plots: Mailles, Tourelle, Tilles, Chaumes, and Cras, all falling under the Hautes Côtes de Nuits appellation. Employing traditional winemaking techniques, the grapes undergo 100% destemming and fermentation with wild yeasts. Following that, the wine matures in second and third-use French oak barrels for a duration of 18 months.
The exceptional growing season has given rise to a truly magnificent wine. Bursting with vibrant and juicy flavors of both red and black fruits, accompanied by delicate violet nuances, the palate showcases remarkable concentration and exhibits excellent intensity, drive, and balance. Don't overlook this remarkable value Burgundy, as it is not to be missed.
