Deanston stands as one of the rare distilleries in Scotland that adheres strictly to traditional methods, eschewing computers and technological shortcuts in its production process. Additionally, it proudly holds organic certification from the Organic Food Federation and boasts energy self-sufficiency, thanks to its onsite hydro-power generation, a legacy of its former life as a cotton mill.

Introduced to the market in 2015, Deanston 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is presented at 46.3% ABV and undergoes maturation in ex-bourbon hogsheads, followed by a finishing period in first-fill ex-bourbon casks.

Nose: Aromas of honey-flavored Tiny Teddy biscuits, freshly cut ripe honeydew melon, and a subtle hint of earthy, damp flint stone.

Palate: Warm citrus notes, ginger, and honey tea envelop the tongue, offering a pleasingly oily texture with a lingering malt presence on the finish.
