Deep opaque red with a purple hue. Lifted complex plum and spice characters on the nose with interesting notes of spicy oak. The palate is medium-bodied full flavoured lively and well-balanced. The finish is harmonious and long, leaving spicy dark chocolate cherry pip flavours lingering on the palate. It shows all the hallmarks of world-class Shiraz treated with good oak maturation to produce a great wine with good ageing potential.
