The Brands Laira is an oaky style Chardonnay. Pale straw gold colour. Complex nose displaying creamy peach and nectarine stonefruit aromas, guava and peach, complemented by some mineral notes, creamy butterscotch and cashew nut oak from barrel fermentation and maturation.
Winemaker Notes
The palate is balanced and complex, rich, rounded and fruit-driven, displaying vibrant stonefruit with subtle minerality accompanied by cashew nut flavours from the oak alongside creamy characters from ageing on lees and malolactic fermentation. The finish is crisp and clean, lingering with fine flavours.
