Notes from Producer

 Chardonnay is generally recognised as the world’s greatest white variety, a versatile grape that produces fine wines in many different wine regions. The Blue Pyrenees Chardonnay has been created using traditional and contemporary techniques, notably some barrel fermentation and yeast lees stirring or battonage, which adds both complexity and richness to the vineyard derived fruit flavours. The result is a medium-bodied crisp dry white wine with the classic complex flavour profile sought in great Chardonnays.

Appearance: Yellow straw with deep green hues.

Nose: Peaches, vanilla, toasty French oak and barrel ferment yeast complexity dominate the aromas.

Palate: A fleshy pear front palate, followed by a textured mid palate with hints of the French oak and crisp minerally acidity. A long structural finish follows showing excellent persistence.
