Canadian Club Chronicles 41 Year Old Canadian Whisky
Canadian Club Chronicles 41 Year Old Canadian Whisky
Notes from the producer
Canadian Club 41 Year is a limited edition Canadian whisky that was batched and barrelled in 1977 and was blended with small additions of cognac, rye and sherry. As of 2018, it is the oldest whisky ever released by Canadian Club.
It is the first limited edition release within the new Canadian Club series meant to pay homage to the brands history: CC Chronicles. As part of that series this release is also known as CC Chronicles Issue No. 1: Water of Windsor. The name pays homage to the brand’s origin of Windsor, Ontario.
Every package has been crafted with attention to detail – the bottle features a sand blasted etching and a custom closure made with natural cork. The label, rope and strip stamp are individually applied by hand and placed in a specially designed carton.
Tasting notes: The history of Canadian Club is steeped into this elegantly layered whisky. Its close-knit flavour profile develops from a nose of buttery vanilla, almond and brown sugar through creamy sweet maple tones and rich stone fruits. These flavors and textures transition onto the palate with a crisp dry oak supporting the sweetness with grace. Rye spices and ginger develop on the roof of the mouth through the classiest of finishes.
