Tasting notes from the producer:

FEATURES: To produce this wine, we use grapes that we deem unsuitable for producing Barbaresco year after year. The expansion of our company's production area means that grapes from new vineyards, which in our opinion, due to their youth, are not yet fully capable of producing grapes destined to yield a great Barbaresco, are also included in this product.

TECHNICAL NOTES: During vinification, we aim to enhance the freshness characteristics of Nebbiolo to the fullest: short macerations with controlled temperatures to maintain gustatory and olfactory freshness. Aging is carried out partly in barriques, some of which are new, with the percentage varying from year to year, and partly in 50-hectoliter wooden barrels for about a year. After blending, the wine is allowed to rest in the bottle for about two months before being released to the market.

TASTING PROFILE: Clear, brilliant, with violet-red tones and evident lighter tannic shades visible at the glass rim, typical of Nebbiolo. The olfactory sensations are persistent, fragrant, open, highlighting the fruity and immediate aspects of the wine, accompanied by noticeable notes of strawberry and raspberry, characteristic of this wine. Good gustatory persistence with the presence of the slight tannic note typical of young Nebbiolo, well-balanced by the wood and other gustatory components of the wine (proteins, mineral salts, and trivalent alcohol). The aftertaste is also good, with long and stimulating chewiness.
