A new single barrel testifies to the distillery's brewing roots: Westward Belgian Ardennes was brewed with Ardennes farmhouse yeast from Culmination Brewing. Westward chose the popular yeast - named after the Belgian Ardennes forest, used in classic Saison, farmhouse and Trappist beers - for its notes of banana, clove and black pepper, which perfectly complement the single malt's profile of dried fruit and baking spices.

Nose: pepper, cherry strudel, banana

Taste: ice cream cone, sour cherry, honeysuckle

Finish: hay, fresh cream, caramel
