Oban distillery was established in 1794 in the west coast harbour village of the same name. One of the smallest distillery in Scotland the whisky has been described as having aÓWest HighlandÓ flavour that falls between the dry, smoky style of the Scottish islands and the lighter, sweeter malts of the Highlands, what we like to call a classic coastal malt.
