Hand-picked gamay, fermented with whole berries and bunches in small oak fermenter. Fits the varietal definition to a T. Brilliant, swirling purple cherry colour. You can smell the plum, cherry, raspberry fruits, sweet spice and potpourri as soon as it's poured. It's certainly one energised young red. Plush and succulent, fruit is the star here amid fine, light tannins.
