Tasting notes from the producer

Colour: Deep golden hue.

Aroma: Vibrant and sugary. Fruitcake filled with raisins, warm apple crumble, and oranges spiked with cloves. Sweet toasted barley, rich dark brown sugar, and caramelized toffee. A hint of rosewater. Toasted walnuts and cinnamon. Even a touch of bourbon-like essence.

Adding a drop of water enhances the sugary maltiness and accentuates the baking spices.

Taste: Medium-thin consistency, intensely warm. Initial notes of sweet brown sugar and flaky pastry. Followed by cherries, vanilla, and dried fruit leather. Transitions into moderately tannic oak and sliced almonds.

A drop of water reduces the heat and introduces flavors of strawberry shortcake, toasted cream, caramel popcorn, and chocolate ice cream. Hint of yellow plums on the finish.

With more water, the heat remains prominent.

Finish: Abundant with nectarine, Sour Cherry Blasters candy, banana bread, brown sugar, and creamy butter. Touches of cinnamon hearts and lingering vanilla.

Water extends the finish and brings out notes of vanilla fudge, honey, and fresh ginger.
