Foursquare Sovereignty 14 Year Exceptional Cask Selection Rum is a Single Blended Rum (Blend of Traditional Column and Pot Still) aged for 14 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks.

Aromas of grapefruit peel, with dark fruits – cherries & blackberries, followed by dark chocolate, cashews, caramelized pineapple and pipe tobacco. On the palate this one is bold and complex – citrus & fruit notes; pomegranate, toasted almond, hazelnuts. With hints of toasted baking spices – cinnamon & clove. Finishes dry and lightly tannic with rich caramel, tobacco and overripe pineapple notes lingering.

This is magnificent robust rum presented at 62% alcohol by volume, without chill-filtration, at its natural colour, and free from sweeteners and other flavourings. One or two drops of water opens this up nicely giving rise to more fruit and oak complexity.
