When Torbreck first combined this "descendant" Shiraz with Viognier in a co-fermentation process, it marked a groundbreaking moment in the Barossa Valley.

Now, many others have joined in, showcasing the success of this Rhone-inspired blend. The Shiraz is crushed directly onto Viognier, lightly pressed for RunRig, and then co-fermented. Maturation takes place over 18 months in barrels previously employed for RunRig.

The deep red clay soils of this vineyard produce fruit renowned for its enchanting fragrance, savory flavor profile, and luxurious satin-like texture.
