Viña AB is a youthful Amontillado that has undergone dual aging processes: under the protective flor and through oxidative aging. Exposure to oxygen has imparted a gentle amber hue to the wine. Delicate and nuanced on the nose, it showcases classic Palomino aromas of hazelnuts, with subtle hints of yeast from its time under the flor. On the palate, Viña AB reveals understated oak notes derived from its 12-year maturation in casks. Enjoyably balanced with a pleasing acidity, it leaves a lingering aftertaste characterized by a subtle saltiness and a touch of bitterness on the finish.
