Tastings With Tyson - Cabernet Sauvignon

In June our esteemed Tasting Panel went through a Cabernet Sauvignon tasting. Led by International Wine Communicator of the year Tyson Stelzer, our tasting panel tasted over 50 flights from high to low price points. 

Cabernet Sauvignon is a renowned red wine grape variety known for its rich, full-bodied character and impressive aging potential. It is grown in many wine regions around the world, with notable examples from Bordeaux, Napa Valley, and Coonawarra. Cabernet Sauvignon wines typically exhibit flavors of blackcurrant, black cherry, cedar, and subtle hints of herbs and spices.

They often have firm tannins and a lingering finish, making them an excellent choice for pairing with hearty dishes and red meats.
