The complex nose has enticing varietal aromas of cherry and blackcurrant with
herbal undetones. The medium to full palate is well balanced with red and dark
berry fruits, good length and soft, rounded finish.
After selective harvesting fruit was immediately taken to the winery where it
was gently pressed. A short cold soak was undertaken to build mouthfeel and
colour, followed by a hot ferment to maximise flavour. Following fermentation
the wine was left to rest and mature in used French oak for six months.
An enticing nose of black and red fruits with a spicy lift. The rich and soft
palate is rounded with sweet berry fruits and savoury spice and well balanced
by subtle oak. Fine tannins provide support for a long silky finish.
